I couldn't resist this quick post. Check these guys out! All sitting in a circle, quiet as mice, and reading, I mean really READING those great books. I am so proud of these boys!
Avoid the summer "slide." It's important for kids to read over the summer so they gain ground, not lose it. Occasional reading aloud keeps fluency fresh, and a great, previously unread series can keep your child occupied with reading material all summer long!
